Introduction to European Novel Food Regulation is an e-learning course that introduces the principles of the novel food regulation in Europe under the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). The content will provide guidance on the regulatory authorization of food and supplement ingredients in Europe, and key points of novel food applications.
The course is applicable to any business interested in selling a food or ingredient considered novel by European Union regulation, meaning not consumed in a significant amount prior to May 1997.
